Endodontics concerns situations where the inside of the tooth needs to be assessed or treated, especially when inflammation or infection of the dental pulp is suspected. Requests are reviewed case by case, considering symptoms, the tooth’s history, and any examinations required.
When should you book?
Persistent pain, prolonged sensitivity to hot or cold, a previously restored tooth becoming sensitive again, or a suspected infection may justify an assessment. The appointment helps confirm the indication and discuss possible steps.
How does support work?
Ana Stanciulescu has a practice focused on endodontics and uses the operating microscope when the clinical situation requires fine visibility. 3D X-ray imaging (CBCT) may also help when a three-dimensional view is relevant to understand anatomy or prepare the care steps. The aim is to explain the diagnosis, possible limitations, alternatives, and an adapted treatment plan, without promising the same outcome for every situation.
